Stephanie Licata Named Leadership Forum Keynote Speaker for ADCO’s March 2020 Workshop

COLLEYVILLE, TEXAS – February 7, 2020 – Linda Robertson, executive director of the Association of Dealership Compliance Officers (ADCO), announced that Stephanie Licata, co-founder of DCG Consulting, a division of Dave Cantin Group, will keynote the leadership forum at ADCO’s Dealership Compliance Officer Seminar slated for March 17-19 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Stephanie will discuss, “Effective Leadership: the surprising impact on compliance & profitability.” “Leadership is often mistaken for a soft topic – how to inspire people or treat them better,” she said. “The reality is, there’s an overwhelming amount of science connecting effective leadership practices to the bottom line, especially in the automotive retail industry.” Stephanie’s session includes leadership activities that yield actionable takeaways seminar attendees can implement when they return to their dealerships, including how to conduct a “leadership and training audit” as part of their compliance program.

With nearly two decades of combined management and leadership development experience, Stephanie is a multi-faceted strategist and organizational development professional, with subspecialties in marketing and operations. She deeply understands organizations from every angle: from managing mission, vision and messaging to streamlining operations, delivering training, and helping individuals and teams succeed. In these efforts, she has supported organizations in reducing turnover, increasing revenue and strengthening productivity.

In 2017, she joined forces with Dave Cantin, CEO & Founder of Dave Cantin Group, to help him build the largest, most rapidly growing automotive M&A firm in the U.S. The company closed over $1.5 billion in acquisitions in the first year, and to date has closed $11.5 billion.

Being part of automotive M&A operations gave Stephanie an inside look at the ever-changing needs of dealerships, specifically those undergoing transition. Stephanie developed organizational processes, conducted systems trainings and managed recruiting/onboarding operations for DCG.

Stephanie has a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University and a Professional Coaching Certificate from New York University and the International Coaching Federation. She has spoken at the national level at conferences around the country, including the global ICF conference for coaches and the International Associate of Workforce Professionals.
